Corporate Relocation Company: Why Nashville Is Such A Popular Corporate Relocation Destination

When it comes to corporate relocation, few cities in American can claim to be as popular a destination as Nashville. There are many reasons for this, beginning with a business-friendly climate, pleasant weather, and friendly people. It is rare to talk to a person who does not enjoy living in the area. In 2007, Nashville was included in Forbes magazine's list of best places to do business. It also made Expansion Management's list of the top 50 cities for relocation for 2007, and it is a staple in Kiplinger's 50 Smart Places to Live.

Another important reason why Nashville is such a great place to relocate or expand your company is due to continuous efforts by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce (NACC) to promote the city as a business center. In recent years, these efforts have paid off as companies like Nissan and Dell Computer Corp. have moved large pieces of their business to the area. Businesses do not have to worry with transporting employees for new branches and offices in Nashville because the city can provide companies with high quality, skilled employees and good real estate locations. The city has become a medical and technology center for the South and is centrally located to a large portion of the country.

Without a doubt, a strong higher education base is one of the reasons why Nashville continues to become an attractive corporate relocation destination. Based on a study conducted by the Chamber of Commerce of Nashville, the higher education sector of the city actually contributes $ 5.5 million to the local economy and produces at least 75,000 eligible employees for area companies.

The increasing diversity and the strong economic climate are also good reasons why Nashville is starting to attract multinational companies to invest in the city. In fact, many believe that this Tennessee city is beginning to be considered as an international business hub. This is evidenced by the expansion of International flights from the Nashville International Airport.

There is a lot more to Nashville than country music. In fact, while much of that industry has shifted away from the city, many other types of businesses have moved in to fill the void. The city has an automotive manufacturing segment, a computer distribution segment, and is a leader in healthcare and technology. It is likely that Nashville will continue to be a very popular candidate for corporate relocation for years to come.
